The city hosted the "Ailan-bailan" Festival

On August 30, the city park of Innopolis became the venue for the Tatar culture festival "Ailan-bailan." Guests enjoyed a play based on Turkic mythology, learned traditional Tatar dances, listened to modern performers, and attended lectures on the culture and history of Tatarstan.

The stage featured performances by the synth-pop band OMMAZH from Almetyevsk, Kazan musicians Ilgiz Shaikhraziev and Malsi Music, as well as local DJ Edli.

The festival grounds also hosted an artisan market with handmade jewelry and gifts. Creative workshops were open to children and adults, from ceramic painting to making accessories from recycled materials.

At the lecture hall, experts spoke about traditional Tatar costumes, the cultural code of modern cities, and the history of "formalist" art in Kazan. The educational program concluded with historian Ivan Rotov, who shared stories about technological innovations developed in Tatarstan.

Many residents and guests of Innopolis added a festive touch to their outfits by wearing elements of their national costumes.
